(Paris, September 9, 2014) — Lusis Payments, a leading supplier of mission-critical payments software, today announced the selection and rollout of its TANGO solution by Nordic switch processor The Nets Group, a leading provider of payment, card and information solutions.
The selection of TANGO followed a comprehensive review of alternative payment solutions over a number of months. The ensuing project implemented TANGO to drive Nets’ ATM estate of withdrawal and deposit ATMs and culminated in the successful migration of more than 700 ATMs, all achieved within a short time frame compared to similar migration projects. “Nets wouldn’t be the successful, market-leading company we are today if it wasn’t for our ability to develop new and innovative solutions that satisfy clients and partners needs and time frames,” said Jan Erik Secker, vice president at Nets. “Our previous solution had been sunset by the supplier. We therefore conducted a thorough review of the alternatives available to us, in conjunction with a respected independent consultancy group, and across many dimensions found that TANGO was the best match for our needs and requirements. Lusis Payments has ensured a successful migration, and the solution is now running excellent.” “Nets is the latest organisation to choose Lusis Payments and TANGO to address the dual challenges of migrating from BASE24® and achieving the cost-competitiveness and true flexibility to compete and win in the evolving payments landscape,” said Philippe Preval, president of Lusis Payments. “There is no doubt that TANGO’s reliability and true SOA design will enable Nets to deliver sustained competitive advantage through improved speed to market, as well as much greater customer focus.” About Lusis Payments Lusis Payments is a global software and services provider to the retail payments industry.
