Job Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer within Lusis you will be a key contributor to the design, build and delivery of Lusis Payment’s Tango solutions. This role isn’t just about cutting code. We are looking for dedicated and ambitious individuals keen to work within our premier engineering teams.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Reporting to Project Managers and Technical Architect located in our UK offices. You will be involved in the delivery of solutions to Lusis customers globally
- SCRUM based project team activities based on AGILE methodology
- Analysis of customer requirements
- Reviewing & producing design documentation for Tango applications
- Reviewing & producing detailed specifications
- Producing technical documentation for customers
- Application release integration
- Writing and execution of test plans
- Testing with card schemes (VISA, MasterCard etc.)
- Managing client software deliveries
- Provide customer support via analysis and correction of issues
- Opportunities for both remote & on-site technical support for clients globally
- Continually update technical knowledge and skills via in-house and external training
Qualifications and Skills
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have a proven track record of delivering high quality product whilst meeting deadlines
- Experience of Payment Systems advantageous though not essential
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience
- Possess strong computer science credentials with a minimum honours degree level qualification of Upper Second or above
- Be passionate about technology and solving business problems.
- A meticulous and organised approach to work
- Be a continuous learner who is pro-active in their drive to improve their technical skill and knowledge
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and enjoy working in an agile environment.

As a Software Engineering intern/apprentice within Lusis you will have the opportunity to work with top professionals on real-life projects delivering world class product. As well as acquiring valuable technical skills, the majority of our interns/apprentices go on to take permanent roles within the organization.
